Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga. We use the chair as a prop enabling us to bring flexibility to our bodies.
Students who participate in our chair Yoga classes are able to minimize their limitations. When we practice seated Yoga we are able to experience all of the benefits of movement: Breathing Techniques, Meditation, and we are able to feel an experience of relaxation.
Seated chair yoga is gentle and at the same time strengthening. Joni looks forward to working with individuals or groups using this modality. She developed her technique of teaching supported chair Yoga at the Jewish Guild for the blind, in Manhattan.
